Description This is a classic and delicious representation of Burgundy Chardonnay from producer Joseph Drouhin. An exceptional wine for the table that will go with a variety of dishes as well as a great introduction to the region and what wines from Burgundy can offer. TASTING NOTE: Delicate golden colour. On the nose, it has a lovely fresh bouquet of honeysuckle, sweet lemon curd, and butter biscuits. On the palate: it is medium-bodied with fresh acidity, flavours of wildflower honey, lightly smoked almond and a buttered toast finish. 13% alcohol. FOOD PAIRING, STORING AND SERVICE: We think this is a great introduction to Burgundian Chardonnay and would recommend trying it alongside roast white meat, creamy mushrooms, or white fish dishes.
