Description A junmai sake with remarkable characteristics: the fermentation process for this batch is three times shorter than that of traditional sakes. The result: rich, juicy fruit aromas and an alcohol content of just 8%. Perfect as an aperitif or with dessert. A creation from the Fukunishiki brewery. Storage: This sake should be stored in a cool place, between 2 and 5°C. As with all sakes, we recommend protecting it from light. For long-term storage, it is best to keep the bottle upright in a dark place. Lying the bottle down brings the sake into contact with the cork, which can be harmful. Ingredients: Water, rice, koji rice. (Alcohol: 8%) Shelf Life: Before opening and under proper conditions (as described above), you can store this sake for years. Once opened, it’s a matter of personal preference: the “standard” shelf life is about ten days in the refrigerator, but some enthusiasts let their bottles age in the fridge for three to four weeks, or even longer. It all depends on your taste for oxidized sakes. Serving Temperature: We recommend serving this sake chilled, between 8 and 10°C. A wine glass will allow you to better appreciate its bouquet, but a sake cup will better reveal its texture. Don’t worry—it will be excellent either way.
