This salt is arbitrarily called “Himalayan,” since in fact, 99.9% of all Himalayan salts come from the Salt Range in northern Pakistan where the Indo Mountain range can be considered as the foot of the Himalayas.Important in selecting salt is that it has not been processed in non-traditional ways and complies with the Codex Alimentarius rules.
