HIMALAYAN SALT COARSEOne of the highest quality and purest salts is the Himalayan salt, which is recommended by Ayurvedic Medicine as the one with the best biochemical and bioenergetic properties. This salt is arbitrarily called “Himalayan,” since in fact, 99.9% of all Himalayan salts come from the Salt Range in northern Pakistan where the Indo Mountain range can be considered as the foot of the Himalayas.Important in selecting salt is that it has not been processed in non-traditional ways and complies with the Codex Alimentarius rules. In order to keep its properties fully, it has to be handled only in traditional mechanical ways, washed in brine and dried in the sun.
